Project description
In 2020, our office prepared a renovation/restoration study to convert an old olive‑press hall into an interactive Olive Museum space.
Key highlights
- Restoration of the original entrances with a three‑level access layout from surrounding streets, including accessibility provisions.
- Restoration of the façades of the old stone building, with stone infill where required, repointing and grouting.
- Recommissioning of the olive press using the traditional olive‑oil production method and reassembly of machinery for the museum’s interactive operation.
